Chanel Diana Small Matelasse Chain Shoulder Bag (1994-1996)
This beautiful 100% authentic ladies iconic Chanel Diana Small Matelasse Chain Shoulder Bag is a true collector's and investment piece.
No longer in production, this style of bag is an ode to Karl Lagerfeld who in 1989 recreated and renamed a version of the classic flap bag the Diana after Lady Diana.
The quality is unmatched. The lambskin leather is incredibly supple but durable, and has clearly stood the test of time and use.
This bag is in excellent condition for its age, and has clearly been very well looked after. The corners are in excellent condition with no notable signs of rubbing or wear.
The chain is in great condition and the hardware is also in excellent condition, with no obvious scratches.
There are some minor dents in the soft lambskin leather, notably to the left side of the bag, which have presumably been caused by the chain strap resting on the leather. There are some very light surface tarnishes/signs of use which can be seen in the photos. The interior part of the flap shows signs of use as there are scratches on the leather.
This is a vintage bag, and although not brand new, is in great condition for its age. Please consider this before buying, and please do check the photos thoroughly.
